Please read this article in the Guardian by Kelly Vere where she once again highlights the importance of Technical staff in HEIs and the impending crisis with an ageing workforce and very few institutions having any coherent planned replacement policy. Hopefully senior managers in HEIs will take notice soon before it’s too late.
